Phpmyadmin and fantastico hosting

Hi, i just realized i did a mistake choosing my hosting plan i bought last week.

I was interested in fantastico and the cpanel of LINUX HOSTING PACKAGES...
I purchased a SHARED WINDOWS HOSTING.

The problem is that right now i was searching for phpmyadmin but i cannot manage to find it in my hosting controller

1- Is phpmyadmin a feature avaible only in cpanel and linux hosting ?

2- If yes, can i swap the hosting plan from
COPPER WINDOWS HOSTING to LINUX BRONZE HOSTING ?

Hello Gatz,
phpmyadmin is there on the new server. I presume you're on the new server with hosting controller 7. If yes, create the database first. Then goto Domains->Properties->Virtual Directories and see if there is already a configured directory "webdataadmin". If yes, you should be able to connect to phpmyadmin using:
www. youdomain.com/webdataadmin/

Login with the credentials as set at the time of db creation.

I created database but under Domains->Properties->Virtual Directories i have only

_vti_bin
admin
MEAdmin
MEWebMail

gatz - go to 'Tools' Web Data Administration' and click on 'Install Web Data Manager'
that should install phpmyadmin for you
