Recommend a router?

Can anyone recomend a good router, I want something that will be good for home use, but that I can also use for playing around with my newly set up "home brew" web server.

My current router is designed for gaming (aparently) and therefor has one network port and one USB port. Making it a bit crap really!

I would say get a Netgear DG834PM rangemax router. It has a 108mbps wireless access point built in and is good for your home brew web server; it has 4 network ports as well. It also has built in port forwarding options - making it perfect for your web server.

Try the "DSL Depot" if you want a cheap router.

I have had several from them and they have all been just like brand new.

I believe they stock Netgear - I use Thomson, no problems at all.

Don't for the love of god use anything that NTL / Virgin Media give you!!!

Had a quick look at that DSL Depot but theres nothing that takes my fancy at the mo, I imagine its the type of place you have to keep looking.

My current router is Netgear but its just not up to the job, idealy I could do with something like that DG834PM due to the wireless and wired network ports.

Well they are both reputable companies so I imagine you can't go far wrong with them .
