Hi,

I'm new here and I've also just signed up for a silver hosting package.

I was wondering if there is somewhere I can see what components are installed on the server. Mainly I'm interested to see what file upload and mail components they have. Most the sites I'm transfering to here use ASPUpload and Persits Mail so was wondering if they are installed. Also it would be nice to be able to see a list of what other components are installed.

If you're on a linux package, you should be able to see from cPanel. You can the the PHP installed components and other things from the main menu.

erm, nope I'm on a windows package! Any way I can see on there?

I'm afraid I'm not a Windows server based person. I'm sure someone will come along and help you or alternatively, pop on to livechat and ask there.

Hello Phil,

We have some articles in our knowledgebase which have details of all installed components which we install by default on each new server we setup. If you need the information for a specific server hosting your website, then you need to open a ticket for our windows team ad they will answer your ticket with detailed information.

If you can wait for some time then one of our windows team members will reply to this thread later tonight.

Thanks eUKHost.com. I had a look on the knowledge base link you sent me and it appears that the ones I require are installed by default on the windows servers:-

I can hold fire until later tonight, but it would be useful if someone from the windows team could confirm that it is correct an would be installed on the server that I would be on with a windows hosting silver package before I transfer more of my sites over.

Hello Phil,

This components are installed by default on all our servers at the time of setup of servers. Our Windows Team starts filling new servers only once they have necessary components installed on them. I have confirmed with Jack and all these components are installed on our windows servers getting filled right now.
