Default UK Web Hosting- [url=http://www.eukhost.com/]website hosting[/url]s down AGAIN

This is the second time in a week my website hosting has been down, i chose you over dreamhost and the others because you said the servers where in the uk and i thought the speed would be faster and less downtime.

twice in one week? thats not on, especially as it will probably be down for as long as it takes me to get through to someone on the chat system again. I left my last host because of this.

its not a good start.

Please let me know what time your website hosting was down. Our monitoring system didn't report any problem with vc10.eukhost.com in last 2 weeks and none of the services were restarted on vc10.eukhost.com in last 3 weeks.

This is a new server which was setup last month and getting filled right now and its average load has been below 0.10 so far.

It is unlikely that eUKhost had downtime.

Make sure that your own internet connections are online.
Check other website hostings to see if they respond.
Get a friend to check if your website hosting responds.

If your website hostings down, i would recommend opening a ticket on the issue as yes i agree live chat doesn't always solve the problem in the fastest time. In my cases it was quite varied, sometimes live chat sorted it other times they didn't.

Thank your lucky stars you're not one of the unlucky 4uhosting customers like some of my friends are...check out www. 4uhosting.co.uk and see what happened there. Some people haven't had their website hosting for a week...

Sometimes a website hosting might become unavailable for a few minutes whilst the server restarts, though I've only noticed this happenning a couple of times. Sometimes apparent downtime can be due to your own ISP.

come on , im not a novice, i checked my website hostings at home and at work, it was offline until i got onto online chat i got it resolved, its just that i dont want to have to submit a ticket or speak to someone so frequently.

however i do appreciate that eukhost has a forum which gets answered by support staff, and you didnt delete my original post, that shows an honest type of service.

We don't delete any posts from our customers on our forum. Some posts were deleted when we had problem with one of our windows server before few months but that was due to huge frustration on both ends and our technical staff was in a very bad state for those 3 - 4 days. I cannot explain that story again but just want to say that we don't delete anything unless its a spam.

We have learnt all lessons of Linux Hosting and that particular incidence with windows server has made us expert with windows as well.
