Default Web hosting support not replying?

Suddenly the support system seems to have stopped

I was on Live Chat with Sean, he said he was going away to look at the issue, but has not returned after 1.1/2 hrs (Now 7pm)
Also no-one is answering the telephones; straight onto voice mail

Can I suggest here that eukhost remove the answering service with the American accent. Thanks

Regards
Simon

Hello Simon,

I had a word with Sean and he had the chat window open on his machine in which it was showing that chat was closed from your end after he said checking. We have this issue with CCS livechat as sometimes the connection times out and customers think that we closed the session.

I am looking into the Toll Free number as we have recently added some new features and something must have gone wrong somewhere. Please give priority to our helpdesk support when you can afford to wait for 1 hour as phone support and livechat may go wrong due to technical problems but our helpdesk support can never go wrong.

I had a word with Andy ( Incharge of Livechat support dept ) and he mentioned that you are not uploading your index page in public_html though Sean uploaded a test page to show that there's nothing wrong on the server.

You need to take a look at our cpanel tutorials and our knowledgebase to know how to upload index page as we cannot do anything if you cannot figure out how to upload your index page using frontpage, dreamweaver or any FTP software. We also have File Manager in cpanel which allows you to upload webpages but you have to upload your index page as your website hosting wont work without uploading webpages.

Hi

Thanks for that reply

There seemed to a problem with the live chat module for a while

Unfortunately, I cannot upload the website hosting at present, it is in the office. Might go in tomorrow though and do the deed!

Sean was trying to help with setting up the mail settings ie enquiry and webmaster, but it is strange as there have always come through my outlook system on the office isp account

Will this mean that all emails coming via domain ie 25megroup.org, now only come to the mail box with eukhost?

I expect this is the case because of the 123reg dns settings, diverting domain emails to euk

Just a bit confusing. You get used to a certain setup for so long and then you have to get used to something else

Will get there eventually, just worried about all those email boxes in outlook that need to be reconfigured up to the mail box here at euk

Thanks again
Simon

Hello Simon,

You wont need to reconfigure anything in outlook if you have your domain name in SMTP and POP3 server field. If you have any IP address then you will need to change that and put your domain name in both the boxes.

You need to add respective email addresses from your cpanel control panel as the emails will get bounced if you dont add those mailboxes.

give some time for the flash tutorials in our support section as those will help you in future as well. Livechat support wont be able to help you in adding new mailboxes every time as thats a very simple thing which anyone should do at first login in the control panel.
