What does Affordable Web Hosting actually mean?

In almost every web hosting forum, we find people searching for Affordable Web Hosting solutions. I've been wondering,how do people actually define the term. Different individuals have different levels of affordability. Making use of such terms companies may even promote their high cost web hosting packages as Affordable Web Hosting servers........

Whats your opinion on this?

I do agree that affordable web hosting is a sales pitch but in my opinion its not any web hosting companies fault
its the customers mentality which is the reason for development this type of sales pitch every customer want maximum resources for minimum money but i must say that due to usage of this affordable web hosting and increased competition has made web hosting package very affordable to an extent .

Cheap and affordable are used interchangeably more often in the web hosting business however affordable web hosting reflects the ability of the consumer to be able to acquire it, whether or not it is cheap.

IMO Affordable Web Hosting packages are designed and priced in such a way that it should be suitable for individual who wishes to host a website but has a moderate budget. Such packages can be easily afforded by any individual who wishes to host their small or medium sized website.

I think affordability of price are determined by setting a "fair value" what the "majority of targeted customers" in specific area can reasonably pay for particular product or service.

I agree, thee affordability is achieved with keeping the true quality of web hosting solution. such solutions are good for both the web hosting provider as well as the client.

Indeed. There is no point in offering cheap hosting plans which does not meet the requirements of the clients and offer the reliability which is necessary when it comes to hosting services.

Have you heard of the saying "cheap things no good", however when we want to purchase anything, human nature is such, that, we look out for the cheapest possible price. Price becomes the priority especially when you are just starting out and cannot afford it. The beauty of it is we buy cheap and then also hope it is of good quality.

So what is your option then – do you go with cheap affordable hosting or not? Before you do anything it is imperative that you some extensive research before making your choice.
Sometimes you may come across one hosting provider who is absolutely cheap and another hosting provider who is so very expensive but coincidentally providing the exact same features – that is the same bandwidth, the same amount of web space and all other features. Before making the obvious choice of going for the cheaper option, look extensively at what they both have to offer.

Don't buy in haste and then after you have put in all the hard word find that your website cannot even get off the ground. I am not saying that all cheap business hosting providers are bad you do actually get cheap but reliable ones out there but as I said earlier you need to do your part by doing your research.

yes affordability differs from person to person but affordable web hosting means cheapest possible web hosting package offered by a web hosting which they design for their entry level customers who have low requirements and these packages are designed to attract newbie's

In our opinion, an affordable web hosting is the one that costs $5-$8 per month. This is a very reasonable price for web hosting (provided the web hosting company does its job well, of course!)

Affordable hosting is somewhat the usual 'marketing strategy' of the web hosting companies out there. If you will look closely at the web host's prices and features, they are pretty much the same. All you need to do is choose the best web hosting package for your website needs.

I do not agree to this point as there are many hosting providers out there who claim to offer something which is not possible just to attract customers which makes the hosting plans offered much different.

For example: Unlimited disk space and/or bandwidth

Affordability is a term that can be related to budget. Affordable web hosting hence can be defined as a hosting solution that can be availed by most of the individuals who are low on budget yet wish to make their website live over the internet. Such packages are not only affordable but comes with almost every basic resources required for hosting a website. You would not get the privileges that one would usually get with other solutions though.
