Any experience in registering .it domain?

Any one have experience in registering .it domain without having no presence in Italy, I have heard in some forum that few registrar work as corporate agent and work around this restriction, making it easy to register. Do you have any such experience?

.it domains can only be registered by companies with VAT number or by private citizens of age with tax code as long as they are members of the European Community. I haven't heard about or seen any registrars working as corporate agents and working around this restriction.
