Default Changing Domain Name

Due to certain reason, I want to change my domain name, now by changing domain name, definitely there would be some effect on my ranking and traffic. What care should I take while changing my domain name so I don’t affect ranking.

I think you have to set-up permanent 301 redirect.

Yes make sure you keep hold of the original domain - assuming that is possible - and a redirect will help greatly.

Also search the web for explicit links to your original domain and get as many changed as possible. No-one wants out of date links on their website hosting, but some can be slow to respond.

You need to ensure that the 301 redirect is correctly implemented and all redirects go to the valid pages, not 404's. 301 redirects are the recommended by Google as the best way to perform a transfer from one domain to another.
