I wonder if you know about the opening of .Me domain domain registration today? I have just got one:

OnlineWith.me

I paid for $19.99/ yr

You got good domain name, I think it is open from July 17th, I just tried for EXCUSE.ME but it has gone.

It opened yesterday for we small people. The big companies seem to have grabbed many of the small words and first names last April!!! But yesterday I grabbed my surname which has made me happy enough lol.

Looking through the domain that Smartdomainers has registered, I think still there is possibility to get good domain name, but so far I am not convinced whether .me worth to register?

this domain dot me is a new domain name !
and it is welcome in China ! i find that i can register in todaynic.com and xinnet .com too
i have registered many and hope can earn much money ,,hehe !!!

It looks expensive for chinese registrar.
todaynic.com .ME $29.13/yr

you can save about $10/yr if use other registrar:

hmmmmm.......
i had register many dot cn and dot com and dot me domains in todaynic.com now! but dot cn and dot com are really cheap........dot me expensive!

I think it does depend on the registrar - you've got to shop around, some registrars have good deals / low prices on one TLD / ccTLD and others have good deals / low prices on others.

todaynic.com, I heard first time, I would rather consider registering from any reliable registrar or directly through my host.

That is another good point Paul - there are some scams out there (for example, cheap registration services but when it all goes wrong or your web site hosting becomes popular you suddenly find your domain has been seized and resold). Nothing beats reputation!

I am sceptical about todaynic.com - they do seem to have a reputation for spamming and other undiserable activity and according to some website hostings are under investigation by ICANN with a view to stripping their registrar status.

I'd be wary about using them, there seems to be more negative than positive press.
