Default Does backordering the Domain Name would be a waste of time?

Which is better, to buy a new Domain Name rather than backordering a preferred domain name, does backordering the domain would be a waste of time?

It depends on the popularity of the name, whom it is registered with and from where you backorder it. If it's a popular name and there are many others who have backordered it, it enters in to auction and the highest bidder then gets the domain. In such a scenario I think it would be a waste of time. Another scenario could be if the name is registered through godaddy and you backorder it through godaddy, the chances of godaddy procuring the domain are more as they're best for catching names that were registered with them.

In general I would say go for a new domain rather than backordering another domain unless you want it for a specific purpose and there are no other alternatives.

For a moment you may think that backordering a domain is a better option. You have to pay only when the domain is successfully registered if not you have an option to reassign backorder. Apart form this automatic notification by email, low cost bidding and fair price guarantee are few things to look upon when backordering. Yes that’s true only if you get a good backorder service. Now almost all backorder services are running an auction mode business. Imagine if the backorder domain has the highest bid then it is certain that it won’t be available for you. How can you be sure that they will give such as domain name to you and not keep it for themselves?
So I think going for a new domain will save a lot of time ,money and energy. That’s the best to do. What do others think or prefer?

Default Backordering a Domain Name

The domain name is kind of a net real estate. If you really want to backorder a preferred domain name then DomainAlert Pro will do it for you! You will not have to waste your time at all. If the domain name is already registered even then you can backorder the domain name. Once this domain is made available for registration then the domain name will be register for you by DomainAlert Pro. In many cases domain names, after expiration, put for auction by registrars. If anyone bids on the name, you get the outbid notice and given the chance to raise your bid for the same domain name or provide an option for backordering another domain name. If nobody else bid then domain become yours.

Personally i feel that backordering of a domain name will need
a considerable amount of time if you want to get your hands on
it,see wheather if the domain name is easily available and
when you find out that from the various sources on the net
then check out the bidding figure if the name is in an auction,
if you can afford it ,go for it and if not then make your own
domain name as we can always be a little creative and can
make a catchy and attractive one which can be better than
what you actually wanted to backorder.

I would suggest you to go for a brand new domain. Look around and do a thorough search, there are lots of good domains still available.

If you are looking to backorder a popular and generic keyword domain, chances of you getting the domain are very slim as there would be many other people who would've backordered the same domain, as a result of which it enters into an auction and the highest bidder gets the domain.

Backordering is good if you have your eyes set on a less popular domain but the one which fits your requirement perfectly.
