Domain Flipping
I just wanted to see who's doing it and what are your experiences? I'm thinking about going into it myself but I still don't have all the facts straight. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

In short, domain name flipping can be defined as registering a domain name, increasing it's value by some or the other way and then selling it for a higher price. Increasing the value of the domain name by some or the other way is not an easy task, however, if you can manage to do that, you'll get success in domain name flipping
All the best!!

Thanks for the answer Catherine. You can also buy already established domain name and then increase it's value by some or the other way. I hope soon I'll try that.

Right, you can buy a domain name, create a blog or a website, work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website and increase its pagerank and then you can resell the domain name at a higher price.

I think Domain Flipping is good business for those knowing the market and expert in domain tasting/domain kiting ( it's generally considered as loopholes ) by which one can register a domain name and cancel within the grace period to check the marketability of the domain names. However I am not sure about the registrar which allows to cancel a domain name within the grace period for refund.

You are most welcome Bakeron
Indeed. You can purchase already established domains (if you are ready to spend a good amount of money in this business ) and increase their value by getting good rankings in search engines or by increasing backlinks for the domain or by any other way and then sell those domains to earn some profit.

Having spent months working on my domain, I would want a fortune to pay back the hours I have spent on it

Indeed. Everyone who will purchase domains and work on it would like to sell the domain at a fairly higher price. However, this is not as simple as it seems because this includes publishing quality content on the domain name alongwith getting backlinks for the domains which is not an easy task. However, if you manage to get this done, you'll be able to earn a good amount of money through domain flipping

The only way to optimize a domain is to do what you say. That is what takes the time. Do you know anyone who wants this service and how much would they be prepared to pay?

Well, I do not know anyone who will be interested in this, however, you can contact people who already belong to the niche of the site you have created or who are looking to establish themselves in the same niche on the internet. The amount you can get for this depends on the kind of site you create and the number of backlinks you are able to generate.

Well, To increase your website's domain on Search Engine Optimization is the top most thing that takes place to worth your website and you have to do Off Site Optimization and On Site Optimization. Quality link backs, forum signatures, directory submissions, blog postings and having quality content are some gateways of it.
I believe that the domain value should related to their products.
Like google, every one know it is search engine; hotmail, it is free internet email provider; amazon, online shopping.
So, the domain value will be increase if your website getting well known. And there are such things that your submission of website on quality sites with great Page Ranking counts as well as your site does contain a quality content and meta keywords + Page Ranking of your website must be good.
Steps that you can follow to do this ::
1. Think of a Unique Niche.
2. Jot down a few points/drafts of what you would like it to be like (Content, not design).
3. Take a look at some well known website hosting companies.
4. Choose a Website Hosting Company (So you have an idea of what the server specifications are).
5. Make some more drafts and start designing the website (Never trust you web designer to do your search engine optimization work.
6. Review, and when happy, place on internet.
7. Now, it is online; Update it regularly, with new content and also extras.
Regards,
Ken.

In my honest opinion, it's usually hard to find good domains to flip without developing them. If you develop, prices can easily increade 10-100 times from what you bought it for in very short time.
