Well, there is definitely some sage advice in this thread. I have listened and taken note... there is approximately 50 grams of cat poop in an opaque ziplock that will just fit in the return envelope with todays other junk mail from get rich quick pyramid schemes (no idea what the junk mail is tbh).
I hope the receiver develops some form of nasty skin irritation from the contents. Cheeky buggers! I nearly choked when I saw the letter "Domain Name Expiration Notice" until after a reading a few more sentences, the realisation that this was a scam dawned on me.
Still, it is easy to see how people might pay them.
Hi
My domain names are private. I have checked with nominet.co.uk and they confirm that my details have never been made public.
So the company I deal with streamlinenet must have sold this information to domain name renewal group.

Hi,
Perhaps the address is on your website or a third party site?

There is a big difference between domain registrar and registry. VeriSign is the authoritative registry operator for .com & .net domains. You may check the WHOIS information for your domain in order to find out the actual domain registrar.
Got a couple more the other day. Sent the envelopes back empty. May as well have them waste their money as prepaid envelopes only cost the company once they're processed by Royal Mail
If you are UK based
I return the letter in the envelope provide but without a stamp. This means it stays with Royal Mail who inform them they have a letter. Scammers think it's another sucker who's paid them so they happily go down to sorting office and pay the postage and small royal mail fee to release the envelope back to them.
Great because they've now spent money to get nothing back and also time & energy on wasted a journey going to collect it. haha
***** I normally rip out the bit with my address or anything that might help them identify me so they can;t take me off there mailing list and i can do it again*******
Welsh Tom, like your idea of filling it with sand. I'm Welsh too!!!!
