It depends on your exact requirement. You will not be able to open your site with only IP address in the browser if your site is using a shared IP address, it would have to be used as:

http://ip_address/~user_name
On Linux with cPanel

http://ip_address/$sitepreview/domain_name/

On Windows with Plesk.

If you want to view your site with IP address only then you will need a dedicated IP address assigned to your domain.

If you site is hosted on a dedicated IP, you can access your website by only entering the IP address in the address bar. For example http://xx.xx.xx.xx

If you are on a shared server and don't have a dedicated IP you can access the website with the IP address in the following manner :-

http://xx.xx.xx.xx/~username

xx.xx.xx.xx being the IP address of the server and ~username = your account username.

Thumbs up how to open site by ip address

It depends on which site you want to open. You cannot open your site IP address in the browser if your are having a shared address. you can use the following procedure

http://ip_address/$sitepreview/domain_name/

but if you dont know the ip_address of that site you can get at IP-Details.com : Domain Name Hosting IP address Information

Then you can open your browser.
