Default How Secure is your Domain Name?

From the article "RegisterFly.com Inc, ultimately became a midsize registrar of Internet addresses for more than 200,000 customers, including entertainer Michael Jackson. Now a messy fight between the two for control has brought RegisterFly to its knees and prompted angry calls for better oversight of the Web registry industry.You can find more on this at: www. businessweek.com/magazine/content/07_13/b4027077.htm?chan=top+news_top+news+index_technolo gy

Registerfly is the worst Registrar in the Industry as per my knowledge. They've crossed all limits of hosting and domain registration. All their support and billing staff is based in India and even they are underpaid. Something like $150 per month per staff

I am not afraid to make this public as this is the truth and 100% verified information.

$150 per month? That is wrong. No one deserves to be paid such little amount like that.

But that's true. Many are being paid this amount here. In India, I mean. So eventually, you can expect the quality they would provide to their customers. There is nothing wrong in hiring people from India, but hire good ones and you can get the ultimate deals.

Registerfly is a bad bad bad name. They don't follow ICANN policies either and users cannot complain because of arbitration fees.

$150 to a fresh guy looks fine but if you continue to pay same thing for years then you cannot expect quality. I really don't understand what sense does it make by selling domains for $7 or $8 per month when you don't have any profit margin in it. Selling any service that needs 24x7 support for less than 20% profit margin is merely suicide.

If your business management is poor then such problems are bound to come.

I just recalled one thing that one of our staff members said.

Quote:
Boss ! You people are so bad, we get domains for £4.5 and you sell it for £9
There was no way for me to tell her from where her Salary was coming

They have been terminated now; http:// icann.org/announcements/announcement-2-16mar07.htm

Godaddy is trying to grab this opportunity for domain transfer by providing exclusive offer to registerfly customers;

That won’t be surprising as Godaddy will be trying hard to optimize on that situation and in the current circumstances they are sure to gain a lot in a positive way.
