.info Domain Names

It is said that .info costs almost a $1 and lot of people have already bought more than 50 .info domains for business purpose. Most of the people are thinking that like .com .info will also be popular in the next few years. So is it good to invest in .info?

I don't think .info would match up with the popularity of .com. Although I think they are a good investment and they would be somewhat valuable in the coming years.

I hope it could be good investment as .info and other such extensions provide more flexibility to choose a preferred domain name. No one can say about the future, for example .edu had not that much value and as tough to get it as today, when it was available for registration.

It is probably good to invest in the .info domain in the price which it is offered now; .info has been the most successful of the seven new domains which were introduced to take the strain off from the congested .com domain and is the first and only TLD that was explicitly created and chartered for unrestricted use so it is not a bad deal for investment purpose I guess.
