Name.com turn off ???

Hi,
Just visited Name.com and see that they will stop selling low cost domains within 2 days. They will apply new higher prices after that!!! (perhap they are loosing money!!!)

I also got that LuckyRegister.com just low down their prices for domain registration and domain renewals. .com 6.95/ 7.99 renewals

it looks like very competitive in domain market now!!!

If you register a domain name today and spend one hour daily for your website for couple of years, then that domain name will become your most important source of income in few years time.

Do you think you should risk your domains with such cheapie registrars ?

Versign charges $6 per domain to all ICANN accredited registrars. Someone selling .com domain for $6.95 isn't making any profit on those domains. Will you trust a company with your Business if they don't make any profit in their Business ?

They call it is "Business". They offer cheap domain registration and get profit from the other add on products that domain customers may purchase. "A domain is just a domain, it does not matter you register from this company or the other company, the domain value is the same"

One day that company goes out of Business and then you start your website with a new domain or pay 1000 times more to get your old domain back through various complicated methods.

You know what happened with registerfly.com and how their customers were troubled to get their domains back.
