Default Quick question on transfering a Domain Name from 123Reg to EUKHost

I want to transfer a domain name from 123 Reg to my package here at EUK Host.

www.rsresourcing.co.uk

Am I correct in thinking that all I need to do is change the IPS tag in the 123 Reg control panel to ENOM and thats it?.

What happens after that?. Do I need to do anything here?.

The domain expires 2007-09-25 if thats important.

Thx.

If this domain ends with a .uk tld then all you simply need to do is change the IPS tag of the domain concerned to 'ENOM'. You will then need to go to our website hosting and fill in the domain transfer form, where you will be charged £9 for the renewal of the domain. After that the domain will then appear in your billing area and you will be able to make necessary adjustments.

PERFECT!!!

Will do that right now.

Whereabouts is the domain transfer form?. On the main EUK page somewhere? Had a look and cant find it ( blind as a bat, me ).

I am consistently stunned by the speed of tech support here at EUK.

Many thanks for replying as quickly as that!!!.

Gaz.

This is located at https://www.eukhost.com/mb/order/orderwiz.php?v=1.

You will need to select 'Transfer Domain'. I was wrong with the pricing (sorry), it's £9 for the transfer, and when it asks you which package you will need to select 'Domain Registration' - this costs £9 as it will be the renewal of the domain. Total cost = £18.

I would imagine it would take only a few hours. No more than 12-24 hours I expect but most probably sooner .

It should show up in the billing system once transfer is complete. If it doesn't show up within 48 hours then please contact our billing department at billing [at] eukhost.com; in the event that you have to do this please include the domain concerned along with your registered email address.

Hi guys,

The domain name concerned is showing up like this in my account details:-

Should I contact the billing department about it or wait a bit longer?.

When I click the top one, it shows as Status "New". Bottom one shows as Status "Error".

I'm suggesting you contact the billing department regarding this issue - you can never be too sure
