I have a .name domain with 1&1. Currently its DNS is pointed to EUK.
Last week I cancelled the contract with 1&1, choosing the option 'transfer to another providor'. (At this point I emailed support but have not received an answer.)
You will need to email our billing department at billing [@] eukhost.com with the authorization code and make sure that the domain is set to active (unlocked) at 1&1.
If you have already mailed us then I would request you to paste the ticket number here and we will get this sorted for you.
An Authorization Code is also referred to as an Auth Code or an EPP Code and provides an extra level of security for domain name registration or transfer. The authorization code is unique for each domain name and is assigned by the registrar at the time the domain name is registered. You can request your current domain registrar for the Authorization code of your domain.
