Transferring a domain name registered here at EUK to someone else : How?

I have a domain name that I purchased and registered here with EUK on behalf of a client who now wants to give the domain name to someone else as a "thank you" for some work carried out ( the domain in question relates to the individuals business ).

I have done a search of the forums and read a few things on doing this but I'm not 100% sure I know how to go about it.

How do I transfer over a domain name completely to someone else?.

Hi Gary,

You can setup a separate account for the gift recipient from https://www.eukhost.com/whmcs/register.php and contact our billing team, ask them to push the domain from your account to this new billing account and that's it.

Hi Mark,

Completely forgot about this topic!!.

I'm not sure if they will want to leave the name here at EUK, they may want it transfered to the hosting company they use as the receipient is actually a large web and graphic design company.

I will need to check if they wan't it moved elsewhere. If that's the case, what is involved in that as far as my end goes?.

If they want to move the domain name to another registrar, then we will unlock the domain and will provide EPP Key for the domain which they are supposed to provide to the new registrar. New registrar will initiate transfer request and the domain will be transferred to new registrar.

If it is .co.uk domain, we will change IPS TAG to new registrar and the domain will be transferred to new registrar once IPS TAG is changed.

Hi Karen, yes I think that is what I'm looking for to be carried out.

Hi Gary,

You can raise a new ticket with billing department through our helpdesk and mention the domain name to be transferred. In case of a .com, .net, .org, .info domain, you will be provided the EPP key using which the new registrar can initiate the transfer request for the domain name. If it is a .uk domain, you will need to provide the IPS tag of the registrar to whom the domain name is being transferred.
