Default Yahoo is such a pain!

Before coming to eUKhost I was with Yahoo for my web hosting and domain name. I was dis-satisfied within an hour of purchasing the Web hosting, because I didn't know how to get around their control panel. I contacted support via e-mail and pathetically it took 24 hours for a reply (this is the average wait for a reply) and Yahoo really needs to get up to speed with customer satisfaction. So I canceled my web hosting account but some how it did not cancel. For about 2 months we was still being charged for the service. So I canceled my service and while doing so I clicked 'Yes' to keep the domain name but both my web hosting plus domain name was canceled. So I contacted customer support dept. again and as usual it took them 24 hours to reply. They replied with useful information so I followed the instructions given, and finally it was asking me to pay to re-activate my domain name which I was not prepared to do. All in all I will be moving my domain name to eUKhost and I will NOT be using Yahoo's services ever again! Yahoo really needs to get to speed with customer service. They take 24 hours to reply, if it takes this long why don't they hire more staff? They are a reliable company but when you need support, I doubt you will be with Yahoo very long. So yet again, I am awaiting a reply from Yahoo. I DO NOT recommend Yahoo!

Trust me, if you think a 24hr reply is bad, you should see WebFusion.

They usually reply to support e-mails after 2 weeks.

Thats why you should only use eUKhost! Or at least only ever use a dedicated hosting company - Yahoo! are more interested in the search engine and ad revenue than providing top quality hosting whereas a dedicated hosting provider is only concentrating on one task - providing the best hosting it can!

I would never even consider Yahoo. It is the biggest spyware website hosting on the planet as proved by many experts. I cant even say I visit the website hosting, and never would.

For any other service except search engine related they are the worst service ever. However, Yahoo! is the second best search engine for me to visit. It has different results to Google and still the same criteria of results .

Hmm, That still wouldnt convince me to use it. I would be highly concerned about what its logging from my system and what they are trying to get into my system by backdoor. I always use google for search engines, easily the best by far IMHO

I don't think Yahoo! are that bad and devious - I would use them for searching because thats what there good at - there hosting seems to leave a lot to be desired!

I have always used Google pretty much since its inception and never looked back since. I used to use search engines such as Yahoo! and Ask Jeeves (I have found out that Jeeves has since retired ).

I have received a reply from Yahoo! and they have transferred my domain name to their registrar or something. I will be soon transferring it right over to eUKhost.

Always go with a dedicated host - not a company that is trying to wear many different hats. The more you have on your plate the less quality it will be - it stands to reason!

Yahoo! may not be good for hosting, but domains from them are dirt cheap (well they were).

Sort of, but remember many domain registrars sell domains much cheaper than Yahoo! and they have positive reviews, for example GoDaddy.

I don't think godaddy's price are cheaper even you are going to use their coupan code, however I am not talking abt .info that usually sold at dirt cheap price.
