First time treading the boards
Afternoon everyone - I'm another new guy around here saying hello.
My name's Simon, I'm from London and heard really good things about eUKHost, so I'm looking forward to meeting a fair few of you.
Just a quick question (and yes I know I'm being impatient!!), how long after my welcome email do I need to wait before I can access my FTP or CPanel  |

Hello Simon,
Allow me to  you to eUkhost.com. You would be able to access your control panel & FTP as soon as you receive your welcome email. You can do this using the IP address given to you. The usage would have been explained in the welcome email itself.
You can start using the domain name once the name-servers have propopogated. 
Feel free to post your thoughts anywhere on the forum. Hope you have a pleasant experience.

The FTP seems to be timing out at the moment, but I'll give it a bit longer and then post elsewhere if I need to.

Hello Simon,
Your website hosting is pinging to Somerset - the server on which your website hosting is hosted. The DNS is also pointing to ns1.eukhost.net & ns2.eukhost.net. CPanel works with http://domainname/cpanel.
FTP should also be good to go with the same.

FTP also has been sorted out now. You should be able to work with your domain name now

Just go to 'Start' > 'Run' > 'cmd'> 'tracert'
Copy and paste the result from the tracert test into the ticket.
