...I'm off to Cornwall for a few days. It's not a holiday as such, it's most of a chore (visiting family etc.). It will also be a slow 7 hour death for me onboard a Virgin train.

What i need is a real holiday....

Is there a goodbye emotion of something of the type?

Enjoy your trip. I am sure your family will appreciate it. You shouldn't be bored with all the technology there is these days - wii, gameboy, PSP, portable dvd players etc

One problem: I have none of that stuff. I'm gonna get myself an MP4 player tomorrow so that I can keep myself busy on the train. I've also got myself a couplle of magazines and I need to have a good read of ASP.Net 2.0 Unleashed (it's one thick book!).

Oh dear. Climbing. The memories. Don't get my wrong, climbing is great, and I do it on a weekly basis (very physical).

But when you start falling off cliffs 120ft high, it's different.
