I'm Back!! (DPS Computing)
Just for any of you that haven't seen the other thread(s) I am officially back in the building .
I've explained in the other threads for my absence - which wasn't intentional - but rest assured I am alive and well .
Basically the past two weeks for me and technology have been rubbish. My Internet has been down for the past two weeks, my TV has been down for the past two weeks, My Computer blew up a week ago and I'm still waiting patiently for the engineer, problems with my phone.
I think I have had my next 50 years bad luck in one week lol .

Lol! Well saying that, I've just been on a massive techy fixing thing today. Wireless network, digital TV, phone, camera and I ordered internet yesterday..... It is me or are the similarities between items a little scary.... Lol.
Glad to have you back though. It's been awfully slow going in the other thread we have going! Think we need to make up for lost time. Lol.

My life support machine nearly failed in these two weeks lol . Thank god its back on - with the tv as well which is great!!
All I need now is for this engineer to get out and fix my computer and give me loads of free new working parts for parts that shouldn't fail after 7 months anyway!! lol

Don't you have a back up computer? Or at least an old one you could have used?

Its sad how much we rely on computers these days. Die Hard 4.0 could be a reality. :P

Everything in your life is computers. It can't be sad as your life wouldn't exist in anywhere near the same way if it wasn't for them.
You wouldn't be driving to work, you wouldn't be able to buy your pint at the pub, you wouldn't be able to have medical records retrieved efficiently in an emergency should you be taken into hospital along with many more things. Are you really willing to give all that up?

I'd still be driving to work, and then when I got to work I'd be basket weaving or something.

How do you think your car starts?
(I'll give you one guess! - you need a computer to do it. Thats how immobilisers work!). So no you wouldn't be driving to work. You'd be walking .
