Just introducing myself

Hello everybody, I have acquired a dedicated server with your company and hope that it will be fruitful. I am currently a customer of The Planet, but not for very much longer I am afraid, I was fortunate enough to only have an outage of 36 hours after the allegedly electrical explosion ( w w w .t h e r e g i s t e r . c o . u k /2008/06/01/the_planet_houston_data_center_fire/ sorry cannot insert URL as a newbie) at their Houston DC. However network issues and Service Levels have prompted me to move. I know it is sad as I have been a customer since 2002 and never had a problem, however servers offering in the UK have gone drastically down in prices in the last few years and, as most of our customers are UK/EU it makes sense to have a server here. It was just the excuse I needed to move

I hope that you can provide me with a good service as up time is a really critical issue with my business, as probably all of you guys.

Hi there,

I've just switched from theplanet as well. I wasn't affected by the exploding datacentre, but I wanted to switch to a well respected UK host and after lots of homework I found eUKhost. The support received has been excellent and you know what they say about first impressions. Very pleased so far.
