Apache graceful restart being requested every 68 mins.

Hi,
A CPanel script runs every day on my VPS at 0345 . Ever since the run on the 17th Apache has been putting this in error_log every 68 mins:
[notice] Graceful restart requested, doing restart

Any idea why this is?

Hi Dave,

cPanel recently released a major update to its control panel, which included a tweak for the Apache web server too for queuing restarts & improved httpd.conf generation times, making it's configuration faster than ever before.

Looking at the error/notice in your logs, it appears that the web server is broken somewhere & may need be to be recompiled/rebuilt. It can be done easily by running the /scripts/easyapache script as root from the SSH command line console.

Please open up a ticket with our VPS Dept, so we'll get this sorted out quickly & get back to you once done..
