AWStats, Webalizer for VPS

Hi,

I see both statistical packages are available for my Windows VPS Hosting, but I haven't used either package before.

First, are logs being created on the VPS Hosting by default, or do I have to enable them, and how?

The website hosting is new and doesn't have much traffic yet, but I want to learn how to use these packages. To get me started, which of the two is easier to learn?

I would prefer to use a browser interface, if possible.

Hello,

Logs will be generated and calculated by the windows server itself and there is no need to enable it from anywhere. Also we would suggest you to use AWStats application as it s simple to understand and gives detailed stats of the domain.

You can access Stats from Plesk >> Domains >> domainname.com >> Reports >> webstats. Just make sure that you have enabled popup.

Under domain reports Tools, Web Stats is unavailable.
Do I need to contact Support about this?

Will "enabling pop-up" be an option under Web Stats, or elsewhere?

Hello,

I have just replied your Ticket you have opened. The reason you were not able to view the Webstats is that you have not selected the Stats program from the setup of the domain. I have selected the Awstats and enabled Perl for the domain and now Plesk reports are showing Webstats. Also please allow 24 hours so that Awstats can collect the stats.
