Default Can someone check my vps?

Can a member of staff please check my vps? I cannot access anything on it apart from virtuozzo, and it is also not responding to pings.

It may be due to the firewall settings, as we have it locked down pretty tightly with our ip's added to the whitelist.

I'm currently reinstalling the server that all my traffic goes through, so i'm not sure whether the vps is actually down, or whether it's not responding due to my ip gettting banned for some reason, and not being in the whitelist.

The IP of my vps is: 92.48.68.85

Craig,

I think your ip got blocked in CSF. Let me know your ip address. You can find it using

whatismyip.com

We will remove it from firewall ip deny list.

We have checked your local ip 81.154.176.191. It is not in ip deny list. So it must be something on your network.

We are able to access your vps using ssh, whm and virtuozzo.

Hi Craig,

Can you submit a traceroute result from your local machine ? It can be done in the following way on a windows platform:

1) Go to Start (start button on the lower left of the desktop)
2) Choose 'Run'
3) Type: "cmd" (no quotes)
4) This should bring up a DOS prompt. Once there, type: "tracert 92.48.68.85" (without quotes) This should result in a series of hops from your computer to the server you are tracing to.
We'd be able to check where exactly is the connection between you & the server is being broken or hampered.

I now have this problem resolved, but only just noticed the replies. My IP is not static, but I do have a proxy that runs on a dedicated server, and use that for access to things where a dynamic ip would cause a problem. That ip is already in the whitelist.

As I stated above, the reason for the server appearing to be down for me at that time, was due to my dedicated server being down for an OS reinstall, and so the proxy would not have been working.
