Cpanel :: Webmail Login Failed

Hello,

Sometimes it happens that your email account password doesn't work at webmail as well as in any email client you are using, it just asks for password or shows "Login Failed" message. If you are facing this problem this means IMAP settings or installation has been broken. You can re-install IMAP by following executing following command:

/scripts/courierup --force

This command will re-install and reconfigure the IMAP service on VPS Hosting.

One of my friends had the same problem on an external VPS Hosting a couple of weeks ago. He finally managed to solve it, but it took him several days and a great deal more work than this - I'll be sure to pass this on to him for future reference!
