Default Create reseller packages

Hi,
I am having a look at how to create reseller packages, we use WHMCS and this has the option of creating a reseller package, but from WHM I can not see how to add a package as a reseller package, the reseller central shows how I can change a current package to reseller, but not to create on as a reseller.
Am I just being thick? or is there somewhere else I have not looked to set this up?

Cheers in advance.

Hi,

If you have a Reseller Privileges for your domain then, you will need to login to the WHM interface of your account with your user name and password and from there you will be able to create your own reseller packages. the option is as follows.

WHM>> Packages>> Add Packages

Let us know if you any anymore questions.

Regards,
eUK-Victor

Teading the WHMCS forums, I think I see why I was having trouble, as there is not an automated way to create an account and then have it as a reseller. From reading it would seem that once the new reseller signs up, I then have to manualy go to the WHM, and add their account with reseller privalidges, I though maybe the package could be automated.

you could make the package up with the reseller size limits, eg bandwidth and webspace, let whmcs automatically set it up.

then when it s set up manually add the correct priveledges via the reseller centre for that account

Yep, got that, was just looking to see if there was a place to set the reseller priv automaticaly.
Could someone who may know let me know what reseller ACL list (I asume that stands for access control list) is for under the WHMCS product creation?

the ACL list will allow you to specify what your resellers can do and what they see in their WHM menu

hi vivaciti, your not the same one from HD are you?

if you click the reseller centre in your root whm

then in the reseller modifications window, select your reseller account
now click the padlock for edit priveledges

here you can edit and save the ACL`s

Dont know, whats HD (other than hard drive or high def)
Does that not save them for each reseller, or can you create a template reseller account as set the permissions there for other new accounts?
