hi all, i just set up a dedicated SSL via the support/billing team , who were very helpful as normal and did everything for me. No complaints there.

But , in future, i may want to do this all myself. Is it easier to use the WHM panel and go through trustwave? Trustwave seem okay, and i notice that they throw in a trust seal as standard, where i believe this is only an option with secure business services if signing up to their plus package?

Hi,

We are adding few SSL plans which will include few Certificates that come with Trust Logo. This should be completed by the end of this month.

okay thanks.. in the meantime is there any reason not to use WHM and trustwave to set up a new SSL? should it all be fairly straightforward?

If you have at least 1 Dedicated IP free in your WHM then you can install SSL Certificates yourself from your WHM.

hmm currently only packages from securebusinessservices.com are offered then, any plans to add to this? I've used trustlogo.com in the past many times and really like the variety of the logos and seal, but if i do it direct via them myselves i assume i have to buy an extra IP from euk for my VPS Hosting?

Unless you have a spare one free already then I would assume so yes. You only get a free dedicated IP if you buy your SSL certificate directly from eUKhost.
