Default Direct Horde login?

Hi all,

Currently if I want to use webmail I have to use the https://domain:2096 url. This then takes me to a small options page so that I can choose to use either Horde or Squirrel mail. Well to me there's no contest really, Horde looks and feels much better so is there a way of just going straight to the standard Horde login page? Also it would be nice to get to the login page via webmail.domain.com. Any suggestions for doing this?

Cheers,

Chris.

http://YourDomain.com:2095/horde/index.php

You will still have to sign in then press login. but you wont have a squirrelmail option.

Thanks Brian,

That seems to work. I did actually find I could use https://domain.com:2096/horde/index.php. This is a "secure" connection I assume so would this be the prefered option? The only annoying thing is that you keep getting the explorer security warning everytime you try to access it.

Is it just my VPS Hosting or does Horde seem VERY slow?

Actually I just noticed that I had a second window open logged in on port 2096 to the same mailbox so that might have been slowing things down a bit. It seems ok now.

Would it be possible to point webmail.domain.com to the horde index page somehow?

Typing at the same time there Brian

Yes, basically I'm just after a simple way of letting my shared accounts access webmail. The 2095 port option seems the best for this I guess. It would be nice not to have to specify the port though and just use the webmail prefix somehow.

Just for those who are interested, this is how I did it in the end (quite simple really)...

1. Create a sub domain of webmail.yourdomain.com
2. Set this sub domain to redirect to http://yourdomain.com:2095/horde/index.php

Cheers,

Chris.

Hi this works great thanks. But how do I get it to bypass the "Welcome to Horde" language page?

Thanks

On all my domains (Linux VPS) I don't have to create any subdomain - just go to mydomain.com/webmail and login - if you enable horde (or whatever one you prefer) then that can load autonmatically
