Domain transfers

This is a basic query but one ive never been too sure on.

Ive not had any real trouble transferring domains in the past, i registered at one place, then transfered them to my VPS Hosting (not EUKHOST)

Ive just signed up for a VPS Hosting here and will need to start transfering domains across when its set up.

Im looking for a definative answer on the correct proceedure for doing this, is IPStag first then nameservers? or nameservers then IPStag?

I know you cant do them both at the same time, or atleast you cant from my current suppliers.

I want to ensure that when i start a transfer it goes as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Also could someone confirm the IPStag name i should use when transfering here.

Hello Andy,

You should first point your domain names to correct nameservers and then proceed to change IPS tags of your domains. You should point your domain name to "ENOM" IPS tags as we use Enom for domain registrations. You can also point domains to "EUKHOST" IPS tags, but the procedure to manage domains with Nominet is very complicated so we prefer to use Enom due to the automation they have.
