email limit

Hi, I'm on a semi-dedicated server where I beleive there is a 1000 emails per hour limit.

This is becoming a bit of a bind as our email newletter list grows longer, at the moment we throttle down to 800 per hour but is there any way we can increase the 1000 per hour limt?

You can find more details on email limits in this thread: Sending Email using php Mail() - issues

You can change this throttling value from the WHM interface >> Tweak Settings >> Mail >> "The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited)"..

But it's recommended to stick the default limit set as increasing the same may cause server overloading issues. You might want to consider a dedicated just in case you want to have 3600 & more emails sent per hour per domain.

Hello Paul,

You are allowed to increase the limit but it should not overload your semi-dedicated server, so you have to take care of your resource usage.

You can increase the limit from :

WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> The maximum each domain can send out per hour >> Save
