FTP failing on large files

Hi,
I have a backup job that runs a weekly and monthly backup (thanks for Scott for that one) the problem I am getting is ftp. When I run an FTP script to download all the files to a local machine, they all run fine and download the file's in full unless the file size is large then it downloads some of it, then fails with the rest, it does not seem to be a size issue as such, as for EG there are 2 files one is 47.7mb and that will only pull down 40.1 and the other is 65.1 and will fail after downloading 56.4. there are others but will use 2 for the example.
Just to make sure there is not a local machine issue, I have also used core FTP LE to try to manualy download these files, and the same thing seems to be happening.

Anyone got any ideas???

OK, ignore that, found the problem, now the script works, but from a windows machine, I can use the mget command to transfer al files to local machine, but is there a way I can put a param in so I dont have to type in Y every file? or even if there is a sinple and basic FTP program I can script to run to pull down all files?

Hi Karl,

the prompt feature of the mget command can be disabled by invoking ftp with the -i option. In this instance, all file names that match the pattern in your mget command will be transferred without confirmation.
