Default 'Login failed' when trying to access email on [url=http://www.eukhost.com/vps-hosting.php]VPS Hosting[/url]

Hi there. I have setup my new domain name fimpmeida.com and i love the Plesk interface. I have also created the email account sales@fimpmedia.co.uk. I have sent email to this address and it has not bounced but every time i try and access it using the webmail feature i get 'Login failed'. I have tried changing the password but this had not made any difference.

Hey,

Sometimes this happens if "Mailenable POP service" is down. So please confirm it and you can restart the service from "RDP >> Plesk Service monitor >> Mailserver >> Mailenable POP service >> restart".

If the problem still exists then, better to email to support because their are many posibilities which causes this problem.

My email was working but now outlook is giving me the following error:-


Task 'mail.fimpmedia.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210 : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Anyone any ideas? It was working this morning and i have not changed anything.

I have logged a ticket for this but i have not had any response. This happens every single day now. How can i stop it?

The ticket number is 455.

When i posted on the forums you asked me to log a call. When i logged a call nothing happended and i am now giving the call number over the forums

not sure from where you have opened this ticket but our helpdesk is located at http://support.eukhost.com

please take a look at the welcome email once again as we mention in our welcome email that tickets should be opened from http://support.eukhost.com only. I think you submitted that from your plesk control panel.

Samuel replied to your ticket after monitoring your VPS Hosting for an hour. He is monitoring right now as well but resource usage is making pop3 service fail on your VPS Hosting.
