Hello,

I have been getting quite a few mails from (Mailer-Daemon@vps.jchosting.co.uk)
Saying the mail could not be delivered to xxxxx@blahblahblah.com
I don't mind getting these mails. but my question is. are they also stored on the server?
Do I need to clear them from a server mail box or are they forwarded to my specified mail address and then deleted?

By default cPanel sends all email notifications to
“Server Contact E-Mail Address”, you will find this option in
“WHM >> Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel/WHM Setup”. While configuring WHM first time, you might have gone through this procedure.
From
“WHM >> Server Contacts >> Change System Mail Preferences” you gets an opportunity to set an email ID for any particular notification. You can enter any
valid email ID there. If the email ID is hosted on your VPS then definitely it will use VPS disk space and you have to manually clear these emails. You can set any outside email ID there. The only thing is set valid email ID.
Also, you can configure all email notifications from
“WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> Notifications”.

Also while I'm here, i had an issue on my last server were the server was getting full. when the host looked into it it was something to do with a log file filling up? he cleared it and I got the space back? Do I need to empty any sort of file from the server on a regular basis?

Regarding
disk space issue, we can setup a
cron which will delete
email logs, apache error or access logs, /var/log/messges, mysql logs, cpanel logs or any other log file. We can run the cron once in a month because we will require logs while investigating on any issues.
Feel free to get back to us if you would like to proceed with these settings.
