Default missing features

Hi, just had an email from a customer saying a couple of the features that were there before we moved from reseller to VPS Hosting are not there now.
These are AWSTATS, icon not even there, and also fantastico, the working is there but not graphic, if you click to words, you get a 404?

Any ideas?

Thumbs up

Hello Karl,

We have enabled "AWSTATS" icon for all accounts from WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings >> Stats Programs. Also installed Fantastico on your VPS Hosting.

Cheers, the customers seem happy now and everything seems to be working, we do have the chap who have problems accessing MySQL Server remotley again, we had this when we first moved over to the reseller package. I have asked him to check the access lists first in case they had changed, if not I will give a shout.
The DNS has propergated now, so I will have a better idea on if there is anything else today.
As always, great support.

Looking at WHM, in the firewall, there does not seem to be an access granted to port 3306, should this be added for MySQL Server admin, or is it enabled somewhere else?

Hi Karl,

Do you want to access MySQL remotely ? Or do you want to block the remote access, by blocking the port 3306 ?
MySQL has an inbuilt feature of disabling all the remote connections by enabling the 'skip-networking' feature in /etc/my.cnf file, this has to be done from the SSH console directly.. Let us know if you need any such settings configured on your server..

Hi,
Yes he need access to it remotley, he has his databases on our server, but a remote client installed on a remot machine. He has added the external address into the MySQL Server access list in his cpanel, but still cant access them, so yes, if this could be done ti would be great.
