Plesk bringing down a server

Hi,

I have a windows VPS Hosting with Plesk installed. Over the last week, I have noticed that Plesk is running really slow and that it seems to bring down the VPS Hosting. I have a couple of examples.

1)Once when I tried to login to Plesk, my VPS Hosting went down at exactly the same time as my login attempt. My domains were working 2 minutes before.
2)When I tried to install a CMS application from the control panel, it installed the mySQL DB but then through up an error about the VPS Hosting not responding. When I checked the status of the VPS Hosting it said is was shutting down. This happened twice, I have not dared try again.

After both examples I could login to Virtuozzo to start the VPS Hosting again.

Has anyone had anything similar?

Combination of Plesk and Windows is huge mess as both are resource intensive and when both come on VPS Hosting platform then you are bound to face problem. I don't believe that they cant work on a Quad Xeon server as well but thats the fact.

Our monthly lease on this configuration is £300 and we are finding it difficult to cover our costs on windows VPS Hosting platform as we cannot make more than 10 VPS Hosting on a single Windows node.

We are considering hostingcontroller as control panel and Microsoft Virtual PC for Virtualization. hopefully this 2 will erase problems created by plesk.
