Hi,
My
VPS Hosting came online last night and now I am trying to use Plesk Migration Manager to transfer data from my old server to eUKHost.
I downloaded the Plesk Migration Manager and installed it on my eUKHost
VPS Hosting.
I also downloaded the Plesk Migration Manager to my old server (which runs Plesk too) and have started the Migration Manager Agent on the default port (6489).
In the browser, the Migration Manager Agent is responding, so we have proof that the port is open and not blocked by firewall.
When I try to initialise a migration from Plesk on my eUKHost server I get the following error:
Error: Unable to upload scout: Unable to run migrmng: Unable to connect to remote host 87.106.104.19. Please check if the remote server is available for connection and if the correct login and password are specified.
I have checked out this thread at the Parallels
website hosting and have come across what may be my problem. On both the old and new (eUKHost) servers, when trying to access network shares (even from the computer itself) using \\EUKSEMI4202\Admin$ (for example), I get the error:
No network provider accepted the given network path
File and printer sharing for Microsoft networks and Client for Microsoft networks are both turned on in Network Connections on the network adapter.
Has anybody else successfully used the Plesk Migration Manager and agent with an eUKHost semi-
dedicated server and also, how can I get network shares to work properly (this will probably go some way to resolving the issue.)
Thanks in advance guys,
Nathan Collins
