Default POP3 Emails Not being Received

Hi All,

Apologies for this in advance, I am new to EUKHosts and recently purchased a Windows VPS account to use the SmarterTrack package.

I am having problems with the POP3 email accounts I have set up in Plesk, they appear to look OK and can send messages but anything sent in to the mailbox does not appear. Nothing in Webmail and SmartTrack has an agent that runs to collect incoming POP3 messages, and cannot see any.

Problem is of course, I am also trying to raise this as a Support Ticket in the EUKHosts system but everytime I get close to submitting the ticket the webpage crashes and I get "Page Not Found" errors in the HTTPS page.

The ticket I am trying to submit is:

Can anyone assist either with suggestions on the POP3 issue, or what is wrong with the Ticket system?

Hi Kevin,

The MX record for the domain g-tracker.co.uk was incorrect, I've corrected it now & emails are being received on the server.

There are no known issues with our support ticket system, but if you can try a different browser to check if the problem persists or provide us more details we'd be able to investigate further & get this sorted out for you ASAP.

Rock, thanks for the lightning speed response and resolution. Not sure what I had setup wrong with the MX record but so glad you spotted it. I'll have a look and see if I can spot my error.

On the latter note, I'll try the Ticket System in IE compatibility mode next time to see how I get on. I'm using pants IE8 at home, but IE6 at work because we're not allowed to use anything higher for security reasons.

Much to be said for Firefox !!

The changes I did to the DNS were:

FROM:
g-tracker.co.uk. 86400 IN MX 10 smtp.g-tracker.co.uk.

TO:
g-tracker.co.uk. 86400 IN MX 10 mail.g-tracker.co.uk.
