Thumbs down privvmpages error in PPP

Hi,

Got my VPS Hosting Thursday (but thats another post )
Finally got support to set it up correctly as ordered.

I have been migrating sites over today from my old VPS Hosting host.

I have noticed that in Virtuozzo/PPP the privvmpages value is showing
as RED using 71,994 of 72,632....

Not sure what this means, but I have a lot more sites at my old host
on a basic OpenVZ container, and this VPS Hosting is supposed to be a MEDIUM
powered Virtuozzo with 512mb ram.

I have only moved over about 8 sites which are very low use, so I am
not sure what is causing the RED line, unless it is a problem with the
VZZO HOST Server.

Can you please investigate, if I am out of resources I will be very
annoyed as I would fail to see how you can run "Hundreds of sites" as
your advert says I can on this VPS Hosting.

Livechat is not being answered and ticket been in for several hours without being looked at. Also phone number saying "calls cannot be forwarded at this time".

Ticket : #YDZ-91444-420

Thanks.

Hello,

We have enabled SLM Parameters for your VPS Hosting and now your VPS Hosting has 512 MB of Memory. Please check and let us know if you still face the same problem.

Smile Now Up

Hi,

VPS Hosting now up and I can login again....Thanx

What is / was the problem and will it happen again?

I have run 4 OpenVZ containers with 384mb (equiv to your VPS Hosting-01) for 2 years without issue.

Since Thursday have had to raise 4 tickets to get correct memory, OS, HDD space etc. setup on the VPS Hosting and when it comes to the first set of customers moved on it kills the VPS Hosting...

I wanted to reduce the old 4 to 2 of your VPS Hosting-02, but I hope these issues I have are just teething problems and not a standard happening.....

What I will say is that up until today the Support has been good, the guys on the Live chat have been quick to resolve problems and I hope this standard of support continues.

That was the main reason for leaving current host as their support was 8x5 and e-mail only which made urgent things a problem.

Thanks again.

On another note can you make the CentOS Enterprice v5.2 WHM/Cpanel build a Template.
It is available on Virtuozzo web site hosting including .RPM patches.
Can you check if these VZZO patches have been applied to my VPS Hosting?

The problem was with the Configuration file of your VPS Hosting. The file was mis-configured and showing UBC and SLM parameters, we have disabled UBC and enabled SLM for the VPS Hosting (Node is also configured to work with SLM). You will not face this problem again.

Please open a ticket/Send a mail to VPS Hosting[at]eukhost.com so that we can look into this.
