Default Problems with the migration of my website

Hallo ,

That's is my first post at your forum and with it I want to say "HI" to the older members and the eukhost team. I choose that company because at first glance it seem to give great support to their customers and for people like me (IT morons) that is very important.

So up to know I have two problems only

1.With the set up of my vps server I started to receive e-mails warning me that : The hostname (vps14817.eukhost.com) resolves to . It should resolve to 213.175....(my IP)
I have checked the dns zones and everything seems to be o.k. there, unfortunately I don't know how to perform the other suggested check if /etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly

I have raised ticket for that question to the support with some other questions, but they forget to answer to this particular issue.

2. Migration of the site was performed by the eukhost team and they have confirmed that they completed this. However my website is now down due to Classname mysqli_stmt is missing.
The error occurred on line 196 of /home/infobett/public_html/core/sweboo.php

The website is already piniging from the new i.p.

My IT guy is on his vacation out of the country and I can not ask him what is going on and where is the problem....may be transfer was not so smooth as for example i have one mail account and it was not transfered - may be with the other settings the issue is the same.

But may be we need to do something from our side. But I need to know that so I can interrupt my employee's vacation

Thank you in advance for your time

Welcome to the forums Hank! If you need an urgent response you could try live chat from the main site (eukhost.com) or give them a call and they should be able to check/sort whatever the problem is

Hi Konstantin,

Please let me know there are any other post-migration problems which need to be rectified. such minor errors are seen due to difference in installed php and apache modules on both servers. Our staff members rectify such problems in no time once contacted via livechat or ticket system.

Hi Konstantin,

to the Eukhost community forums

The hostname of your VPS has been setup correctly & the popup problem has vanished after setting up it's proper DNS entries.

Regarding the other problem with the website, it appears that MySQLI [MySQL Improved] wasn't installed/enabled with PHP, I've done so now.

Please get back in touch with our support staff if you continue to face similar problems.

The transfer of the website was not so smooth as I expected. My site was down for about a week. We have some issues with the difference of the program versions between the two servers. However the most important thing is that the website is now ON and it is very fast.

I want to THANK VPS Support team for the great support I have received during that week, I really appreciate your efforts.

I am really looking forward for a long and successful commitment with eukhost !

Hello Hank,

We regret to hear that the migration was not smoother as you expected however I'm glad that you are happy to have the website online with much more better performance. Our migration team transferred many accounts using the migration software and the accounts were migrated without any issues however there were 2 to 5 cases wherein some additional applications and their manual settings didn't get migrated, it seems your account was one of them.

Please contact our Live Chat support and they would sort out the doubts / issues you have with some program versions between the two servers.

I thank you for your feedback and the realization you have for the VPS Support Team efforts.
