How long does it take for reverse dns to propagate? Support configured it for our VPS Hosting about 28 hours ago but it's still not resolving according to remote.12dt.com and pingability.com which means that email is not being accepted by some ISPs.
Or am I too impatient

It doesn't look as if rDNS has been setup - please let me know the staff member which got this done for you?

Okay... I've just contacted the staff on your behalf - it has been setup - but propagation seems to be a bit slow. Please try again after 48 hours.

Hello Steve,

DNS propagation takes in place in two phases and they are:
1) From our End
2) From Datacenter

We have made all necessary changes from our side but the Datacenter Engineers are facing some problems while propagating IP's to your VPS Hosting. According to them this will be get fixed till Monday.

We really apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Yippee!! It's all working now and email is being delivered, so now I can close the ticket. Thanks for the updated information.
