Default Semi-Dedicated down 3 times

Hi, my semi-dedicated server has been down 3 times in the last 24 hours.

I was talking to Carl on live chat and he said he would move my query to vps support when I had already selected that option. Anyway still waiting... 20 minutes in the queue?

78.129.171.168

I want to know why it's been down 3 times in 24 hours if someone can answer me. I don't have time to wait on support so leaving the message on here for me to check in the morning.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have checked and found that the uptime of your Server is 46 days, you can too check the same using command "uptime" from the shell of your Server.
===
root@server1 [~]# uptime
22:44:26 up 46 days, 5:18, 0 users, load average: 0.01, 0.02, 0.00
root@server1 [~]#
===

Also all the required and necessary services on your Server are running from 30th September without any disruption. Please let us know where exact you are facing problem so that we can assist you in a better way.

Sorry for the late reply. I received 3 emails from the server monitoring service thingy... you know the email that is sent when your server goes down? I received 3 in the space of 24 hours at times I was not actually awake or working but I wanted to know why I was being sent these emails and if there was an issue.

There might be network issue when monitoring server communicated with your VPS. When it happens, monitoring server don't get any response for any service running on your VPS. It sends alert for all ports and monitoring service as offline.

There was no downtime on your VPS as stats are shown by Mike in above post.

Hello,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This particular downtime was caused by one semi dedicated server which was overloading the main hardware node. We have suspended that account on the node. Load is stable on the node now. Regarding failed DNS monitoring, I'll have a word with our CRO and update this thread later today or tomorrow.

Any update on the monitoring at all?

Also I have issues with my sites not responding or being extremely sluggish. I'm aware of the LINX issue but is this still going on now? Would restarting my server help at all?

Thanks.

Hi,

John has already replied to the another thread for the same issue of LINX.

http://www.eukhost.com/forums/f13/linx-rapidswitch-network-issue-9673/

Still if you are facing any issues with VPS or semi-dedicated server then please contact our VPS support department on Live Chat support and they will investigate the problem.
