Thank you Jordan, I just find I tend to get a better response from the wonderful mods on here and I don't have the time right now to sit on the live chat!

Hi,

Scott has sorted your problem and he has removed the virus which was creating problems for your VPS. You have some insecure code on one of your websites which was used to execute port scanning and hacking scripts from your VPS.

I have asked Scott to find out which webpage on your website has got the insecure php code which was used for this injection. We can install mod_security on your VPS and disable some insecure php modules to prevent this problem in future.

Please let me know if you want us to install mod_security and disable vulnerable php modules.

Thank you, and thank you to Scott too.

Please could you just elaborate on what you said about using the VPS to browse websites, does this relate to posting links on our forums?

This problem occurred due to one of your website hosting some vulnerable PHP code. Scott has got this sorted, but you should consider my suggestion related to mod_security setup on your VPS and excluding some vulnerable PHP modules to avoid repeat of same problem in future.

Sorry for the delayed reply, that would be fantastic if you could do this for us. Thank you!

Hi,

Please come on livechat and ask one of our VPS Team members to configure mod_security for you and disable some of the vulnerable php modules. They will make necessary changes and ask you to check if your websites continue to work as you want.

Some websites start throwing errors after installation of mod_security.

I wonder if someone could have a look again for me, only I seem to be getting the following error message;

Safari can’t open the page “http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding.

Thank you.

Hi - I believe this is a problem affecting most, if not all of our users, Moopy (I can't post the URL, but it's the same as elsewhere in this thread) appears to be inaccessible. The following message is presenting in browers for the past 45 minutes or so: The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Is there any chance someone could have a look at this for us? Many thanks!

Hello,

We have found there were high connections on your httpd service due to which httpd service was stuck and website was not working.
We have restarted httpd service on your VPS and now your website is working properly.
We have also installed and configure firewall on your VPS.
