VPS hosting :: Invalid Cpanel License File

Hello,

After you login to the WHM if you get the "Invalid License File" Error please perform following operations

1) Update License : You can update the cpanel license by executing following command from the shell of your VPS Hosting

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

2) Firewall Check: Try to telnet auth.cpanel.net on port 2089 from your VPS Hosting. If you are unable to connect to cpanel server then stop the firewall and try to connect again.
Telnet shows following output then it means that your VPS Hosting is able to connect to cpanel server.

root@server [/]# telnet auth.cpanel.net 2089
Trying 69.90.250.78...
Connected to auth.cpanel.net.
Escape character is '^]'.
200 cPanel License Service Version 12.0

Thanks for the new update. We were aware of /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt but not the telnet thing.
