Default 92.48.97.* Iis Down Again

This is becoming a daily chore now!

Can someone senior at UKHOST sort this out for ALL VPS Hosting customers on this IP range

I would like to be moved to a new VPS Hosting asap

On the last chat I was told this would take 1/2 weeks and the web site hosting would be down while DNS propogation completes.

If that is the case I will find another VPS Hosting supplier

Regards

Thumbs up

Anthony,

There is no need to reboot the main node. Your VPS Hosting has been migrated to new windows node. I have checked all services inside the VPS Hosting.

Smile VPS Hosting Moved to New Node

Thank you Scott

VPS Hosting is now on new node (fingers crossed) all will be well now.

Whilst the hosting has been problematic the customer support response have been excellent!

So just get the hosting up to the same level and you'll have cracked it!

Thanks

I'm on 92.48.108.x and too had this problem a few weeks ago (after being migrated from another node due to poor performance!).

I've since given up on EUKHOST support and dropped IIS Web Server for Abyss. apart from poor performance in the past week, its been fine since.

I thought the point of having a VPS Hosting is so other users on the server can't affect my Dedicated Server to an extent to disrupt service; so can we get an answer from euk regarding what steps they are going to take to stop this from happening in the future?

I will discuss on this topic with some of our senior system administrators. We are analyzing some other Virtualization concepts as well as CPU resources cannot be distributed in case of VZ virtualization.

Performance of our new E5420 nodes has been fantastic and there are hardly any problems with the new nodes. IIS Web Server and MSSQL are memory intensive and one needs to have good amount of RAM on his VPS Hosting for smooth operation of IIS Web Server and MSSQL. We will check and see if we can raise RAM allocation of all VPS Hosting plans by 128 or 256 MB.

if you start offering vmware or hyper-v servers then I'll be all over it!

we've just deployed a hyper-v cluster for a test project at work and so far we're really impressed (more than with vmware). it has to be said that I'm getting a bit tiresome of Virtuozzo's limitations, I cant even use volume shadow copies to do my backups (but thats for another thread )
