Sorry if this sounds stupid, but Im new to VPS Hosting(only heard about them 2 days ago) and I don't quite understand how SSL works on a VPS Hosting.
Can someone answer my question(or make me understand my question

If I buy a Windows VPS Hosting-01 package, and buy a SSL £39. Does that allow all my hosted domains on the VPS Hosting to have SSL ie:-

https://www.joessite.com
https://www.bobsite.com

Is the certificate for the server IP, or for an individual domain?

Or have I got my head in the sand and have no idea what im talking about?

You get to specify which domain/IP address you want the certificate issued for. Usually it's best to set the certificate for the server hostname such as https://typhoon.eukhost.com.

So I would set the certificate to the Main IP of the VPS Hosting Server im on?

This will allow all my hosted domains on that server to have their own SSL?

No, you can only assign it for one location.

So for example, if you assigned the SSL certificate to the IP address, all securely loaded files will have to be loaded on

http://87.117.238.150/~user/securefile.html

Otherwise you'll need to buy a certificate for each domain.
