VPS :: Restarting Apache on a per user basis

I now have a couple of friends using my VPS Hosting to host their website hostings, one of which is starting to use Ruby. Is it possible to restart their individual web server, or is it one Apache server for the entire machine? Thanks.

Its a single apache server for all accounts on your VPS Hosting. You can simple restart apache gracefully once they make some changes as graceful restart wont kill any existing apache processes.

Command to give graceful restart is as follows :-

service httpd graceful
