Has anyone managed to get this working on Linux based VPS Hosting?

if so how?

I have followed the instructions here

Enabling WebDAV for Apache

but there seem to be a few changes with regard to apache 2

webdav seem to be installed and available so it is only the final steps that need to be followed.. but I cant get it to work..

is it do-able?

Hi Andy,

You will need to wait till someone manages to repeat all those steps and finds a solution for the final step. I tried same thing last week, but then managed to figure out that there's no solution to Publishing feature in Frontpage. We decided to discontinue Frontpage extensions from all our cpanel servers ( excluding a new frontpage server ).
